George Mason University continues the Freedom and Learning Forum today, Feb. 25, with President Ángel Cabrera and Rangina Hamidi, founder and president of Kandahar Treasure, the first women’s private enterprise in Kandahar, Afghanistan, that has provided life-changing economic opportunity for hundreds of women for more than a decade.

The form is sponsored by George Mason’s Office of Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in The Hub Ballroom on the Fairfax Campus.

In these forums, Cabrera leads speakers and hundreds of participants — including students, alumni, faculty, staff and the public — in sharing leadership and life experiences. The forum is offered as part of the university’s commitment to innovative learning and community engagement.
