As the year comes to an end, many in the George Mason University community will be making gifts that help students realize their dreams:

You can make a difference for our students through a gift of your choice:

—The recently established Student Meal Assistance Fund, which provides meal vouchers at George Mason’s Southside dining hall to students in temporary need.
—Mason’s General Scholarship Fund or school scholarship funds, which provide important financial assistance.
—Library Funds, which help provide important resources for research and learning in Mason’s University Libraries.
—Dean’s Funds, which support faculty and student scholarship in Mason’s schools and colleges.
—Access and diversity initiatives that provide pathways to Mason.
—A program, area or initiative that’s of special interest to you.

As you consider your charitable gifts between now and the end of the year, remember that gifts made now could generate income tax deductions that may help reduce your tax bill for 2013.

To ensure that your year-end gift to Mason is received before the end of 2013, make it online at
