Faculty and Staff are invited to an open forum, hosted by Provost Peter N. Stearns, Vice Provost Michelle Marks, and Vice President Rose Pascarell, to discuss the BOV-approved resolution to enter into an agreement with INTO for services associated with and operation of the University Pathways program and other recruiting activities. Topics of discussion will include a timeline for the roll-out of the initiative and the value proposition of the new arrangement, including anticipated enrollment growth.
At the core of an INTO partnership model is a capacity-building joint venture, established to support and drive internationalization and to improve the quality of the international and domestic student experience at each university partner. A campus-wide familiarization visit for over 100 international recruiters will be held February 19 – 23, 2014, and details of their visit to campus will also be covered.
The Forum is scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Research Hall, Room 163. The Forum will be videoconferenced to the Prince William Campus, Bull Run Hall, Room 254 and the Arlington Campus, Founders Hall, Room 119B.
