For the 11th year, the Veterans Day powwow took place at Mason as part of the university’s celebration of Native American and Indigenous Heritage Month. The powwow is a central social event in Native American culture. This traditional gathering combines music, dance, art and food, and provides an occasion for native and non-native students to share and learn about the diverse indigenous cultures of the Americas.
